Prerequisites: Ages 7 and above must take ballet before progressing to Jazz.

The RDA’s jazz program encompasses some of today's more popular dance forms, including: hip-hop, lyrical, jazz funk and jazz. Over the course of the year, students will have an opportunity to explore each the above styles.

Course	Description
Beginner	Students in this level will learn a basic warm-up followed by technique, turns, across the floor and choreography (to incorporate what they have learned in class). Teacher will select a style for choreography i.e. Hip-hop, lyrical jazz or jazz.
Intermediate	the level of difficulty increases in all areas of this class. The format remains the same but is faster paced and the choreography more intricate. Entry to this level requires a minimum 2 years of jazz experience and an assessment by teacher.
